Macro Analyst

Position Snapshot

Key Responsibilities:

·       Track and analyze key global and domestic macroeconomic indicators (GDP, inflation, interest rates, FX, fiscal/monetary policies).

·       Assess the impact of macroeconomic trends on financial markets and investment opportunities.

·       Develop forecasts, scenario analyses, and thematic research reports for internal and external stakeholders.

·       Provide timely market commentary and presentations to investment teams and clients.

·       Maintain and enhance economic models, databases, and dashboards to support research.

·       Collaborate with equity, fixed income, and strategy teams to align macro views with portfolio positioning.

·       Monitor policy announcements, geopolitical events, and structural trends (trade, demographics, technology, ESG) affecting markets.

Candidate requirements:

·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related field.

·       2–5 years of experience in Macro Economic/Market Research, Investment Research, or Policy Analysis.

·       Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg/Refinitive, and Econometric/Statistical tools (e.g., EViews, R, Python) is a plus.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex ideas clearly.

·       Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and proactive attitude.

·       Ability to work under pressure and deliver timely insights in a fast-paced environment.
